This is the season of making resolutions, or pledges, or promises to do something differently. Change is good. The best foundation for life is good health. I’ve bitten the bullet and signed up for something called Burn the Fat, which focuses on nutrition, lots of exercise and support from a multitude of discussion forums.

I started another blog – Writerly Alchemy: Mindful for a Year. A Diary of my Burn the Fat Journey. I’ve decided that public accountability – and perhaps public shaming if I mess up, will be my motivator. Besides, I’ll also be forced to write more.
