Having officially become a ‘senior citizen’ a while ago (yeah, lower transit fares, 10% discount Wednesdays at Bulk Barn, a ‘free’ annual eye exam, gravity taking its toll, more fun than ever, wearing bright colours and speaking my mind, etc.! I am occasionally/temporarily more contemplative than usual, especially when something aches and slows me down for a bit (sports injuries, mostly). A friend sent me the list below and I thought it was a propos. I was told that it was written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, but that may be urban legend to make the aphorisms more credible.
